cmBuilder’s 3D and 4D Site Logistics Simulations Are Now Accessible Within Autodesk Construction Cloud

Burnaby, BC – May 30, 2023 – Today, cmBuilder.io, an industry-leading, 100% web-based construction simulation platform, has announced an integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams. The new integration allows project stakeholders to access cmBuilder projects and advanced 3D and 4D site logistics simulations directly from their Autodesk® Build Insight or BIM 360® Project Home dashboards.

The decision to integrate came in response to the industry's growing need for more streamlined and efficient construction project management.

"The integration of cmBuilder.io with Autodesk Construction Cloud is a strategic response to the increasing complexity of modern construction projects" stated Javier Glatt, Co-Founder & CEO of CadMakers, the developer of cmBuilder.io. "We believe that the ability for our common customers to run their 4D Site Logistics Simulations directly from inside Autodesk Construction Cloud will enhance collaboration across project teams and reduce the friction of swapping apps".

Now, users can run and manage 3D and 4D site logistics simulations without leaving Autodesk Construction Cloud. This means a more efficient project management process, less time wasted switching between platforms, and a significant boost in overall productivity. "We are essentially bridging the gap between project management, planning and collaboration, which results in a better, more efficient workflow for our customers" added Glatt.

Looking ahead, Glatt expressed excitement about the integration's potential impact. "We're proud to make it easier for our construction site logistics simulation capabilities to be accessed directly within Autodesk Construction Cloud, and this is only the start as we plan to release additional functionality in the coming weeks to connect projects, user permissions and pull documents from Autodesk Construction Cloud to cmBuilder in a seamless fashion."

“Phasing, planning and scheduling large construction projects all entail incredible complexity” said James Cook, Director, Partner Integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “By embedding site logistics simulations from cmBuilder into Autodesk Construction Cloud, builders can consider the wealth of critical information in Autodesk Construction Cloud far more easily as they run and collaborate around 3D and 4D simulations.” Mutual customers of Autodesk and cmBuilder can utilize the integration immediately by adding the cmBuilder Partner Card to their Autodesk Build Insight or BIM 360 Project Home dashboard.
